Best Store-Bought Sandwich Cookie Ever!

Note: no artificial color or flavor!  Over the course of two days, I have eaten a box of these.  If you like maple frosting, you'll love these.  No question.  I hope you have a Trader Joe's nearby.

I drove a different way home today

After fishing in Miller's Falls, I drove home a different way.  I found this upscale Dunkin Donuts in the town of Harvard.  It wasn't so upscale inside, but Wow!, what a nice building and what a nice sign.  No pink sign for Harvard!!

I stopped to take the picture below and went inside with the full intension of getting a hot coffee french vanilla black.  But I came out with something different *grin*. (See second picture below.)

Actually the last time I remember having Baskin Robbins ice cream was in Boulder, Colorado in 1975 when I was traveling west with Mac, my grad school room mate.  I remember ordering a pint: half "German Chocolate Cake" and half "Pralines and Cream".  When I saw Pralines and Cream on the ice cream menu today, I just had to have some!!

From flowers to berries in just a few days

It's amazing how fast things are growing right now (including the grass!!)  Just a few days ago the blackberry bushes were all little flowers.  Then on Sunday I noticed they'd turned to little red berries.  Then, yesterday, they began turned black.  That sounds like a bad thing, but these are blackberries, so black means ripe.

Unfortunately, though moist, they don't have the sweetness that they usually do.  I wonder if that's a function of too much water and maturing too fast.  This year's weather is so very strange.
